Ingredients

For the Creamy Shrimp & Broccoli Pasta
  • 8 oz pasta fettuccine or linguine
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Large Pot

Method

  1. Step 1: Start by cooking the pasta according to the package instructions. In the last 3 minutes of cooking, toss in the broccoli florets. Drain and set aside.
  2. Step 2: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until it's fragrant.
  3. Step 3: Add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
  4. Step 4: Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir to combine, then add the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  5. Step 5: Bring the cooked pasta and broccoli back into the skillet, tossing everything together so that it's well coated in the sauce. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  6. Step 6: Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove or in the microwave, adding a splash of cream or water to loosen the sauce if necessary.
